Emily J Rooney is the founder and creator of Home Alchemy.

She is a writer and wellbeing advocate living on Nyangbul Country of the Bundjualung Nation, Northern NSW (near Byron Bay) Australia.

She is a qualified feng shui master teacher and Red Ribbon Professional Consultant with the International Feng Shui Guild.

She is also a Reiki master, life coach and post partum doula.

Personal experience with disaster related home loss and overcoming PTSD added profound insights to her professional skills and she now offers inspiration and support to home seekers and creators worldwide.

Her own home by the sea is nestled amongst a grove of ancient hoop pines. It smells of chai and incense and is also home to three rescue cats (Mr Knightly, Ginger and Merlin)…which wasn’t entirely planned!

A true nature lover, she is often found hiking her local environments while listening to podcasts, modern day ‘mixed tapes’ aka spotify playlists or nature’s whispers.
